How to use

The basic operations are fairly simple, drop the cartridge into your Haslab ghost trap. Flip the switch (on) to neutralize the field (- symbol), then use the remote control to trigger the Fogplasm. (A) starts the Fogplasm, and (B) stops the Fogplasm.

NOT: The electronics of the Phantasm Fogger will enter sleep mode after periods of inactivity when turned off or even upon first use. When this happens, you will need to power cycle the Phantasm Fogger twice, off to on, then off to on again to start using. 

How to access the internals

  • Remove the cover plate of the Phantasm Fogger, it is magnetized and simply pops on and off, (to make accessing the internals easy for refilling of the Fogplasm).

The Phantasm Fogger was designed to be modular and repairable as needed (ecig elements do wear out and are a consumable item). The Phantasm Fogger uses a standard 510 ecig element. Elements may vary from picture above depending on availability at time of production. 

How to refill the Fogplasm

  • Slightly lift up on the ecig element, but do not remove completely. Holding firmly, you can now unscrew the ecig element from the base. Once the element is removed, unscrew the top of the element and slowly refill the cylinder from the side. DO NOT put Fogplasm liquid down the center of the ecig element or you can ruin it. 

  • You can use your own fog juice that has a standard mix of Vegetable Glycerin and Propylene Glycol.

  • Reassemble in the reverse direction. 

How to Charge the Phantasm Fogger

  • To charge the Phantasm Fogger (which is recommended before first use), flip the on/off switch on
    (-symbol). If the on/off switch is not in the ON position, the battery will not charge. 

  • Plug in the supplied USB-C cable to your Phantasm Fogger and the other end to a power source. A talent cell, computer or other 5 volt regulated USB power sources will work. Charging should take approximately 2 hours to fully charge.

Best Practices and Important FAQ

  • You must fully charge the Phantasm Fogger before first use.

  • It is NOT recommended to run the Phantasm fogger continuously. We recommend running the Phantasm Fogger for no more than 15-30 seconds at a time, then taking a brief cool down break. Running the Phantasm Fogger for long continuous times will overheat the vape element and will lead to failure and/or leakage of the Fogplasm. After all, it is just a simple vape pen element. 

  • The vape pen element is a consumable item and they do wear out over time.

  • It is not recommended to use cheaper ecig elements when replacing, as they tend to burn out faster, leak and or won't provide adequate fog. We use Kanger E-Smart Clearomizer elements with a 510 thread. 

  • When Phantasm Fogger is not in use, turn the power switch off (O symbol) to avoid discharging of the battery.

  • You cannot power the Phantasm Fogger by USB. The USB port is ONLY for charging of the internal battery. 

  • The Phantasm Fogger runs off of 3.7 volts, any modifications to the power supply will damage the unit.

  • When the Phantasm Fogger is not in use for extended periods of time, it is recommended to remove the cartridge from the Haslab trap and store it in an upright manner (switch on bottom, vents on top), just to eliminate any potential leakage from the ecig element.

  • Fogplasm will exit from the center portion of the vents, the other areas of the vents provide an air inlet to help with proper circulation of the internal fan.  

  • The electronics of the Phantasm Fogger will enter sleep mode after periods of inactivity when turned off or even upon first use. When this happens, you will need to power cycle the Phantasm Fogger twice, off to on, then off to on again to start using. 

  • If you notice diminished fog output, you have either run low on Fogplasm, battery is running low or the ecig element is on its way out.

  • If you notice the internal fan stop working, the battery needs to be recharged.
